The Mitsubishi Concept CA-MiEV Makes its Debut

The Mitsubishi Concept CA-MiEV is another concept car that debut at the Geneva Motor Show this month.  The Mitsubishi Concept CA-MiEV, which stands for Compact and Advanced, definitely lives up to what it stands for.

The Mitsubishi Concept CA-MiEV is able to go 186 miles from a 28-kWh lithium-ion battery and lightweight All-in-One integrated power unit (80-kW motor/inverter/charger), which is outstanding compared to other midsized EVs. This helps with energy management and weight reduction.

The interior is roomy and sleek with the latest telematics features. Some of these features include: Automatic e-mailing in case of theft, remote control engine start, panic alarm and door locking, along with remote energy monitoring for EVs and PHEVs. Jim Butler Mitsubishi will keep you posted as to if we will ever see the Mitsubishi Concept CA-MiEV hit production.

Mitsubishi Concept GR-HEV Diesel Hybrid

Jim Butler Mitsubishi is excited to reveal one of this year’s Mitsubishi concept vehicles that debuted at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The unique GR-HEV has a 2.5-liter clean diesel engine with a front-mounted electric motor. The concept GR-HEV gets the best of both worlds, having the instant torque of a hybrid and the range of your average diesel; it is expected to be less expensive than electric or a plug-in hybrid. The drivetrain is good for CO2 emissions of 149 grams per kilometer. If the Concept GR-HEV ever reaches production we can assure you that Jim Butler Mitsubishi will have this Hybrid pick-up truck on the lot in St. Louis.
